Advising
Carol Cooper is the undergraduate advising associate for the Food Science major. She oversees all aspects of the undergraduate program, including advising on college, university and major requirements, academic planning, transfer credit and petitions. She also maintains student and class records and is involved in recruitment and outreach. To contact Carol, email her at cacooper@ucdavis.edu.
Peer Advisor
The Peer Advisor for for 2006-2007 is Tina Downey. Tina is a senior food science major in the food technology option. The Peer Advisor can help you with schedule planning, answer questions about classes, inform you of scholarships available, and refer you to the many resources available on campus. She is also involved in outreach activities. She is one of the Activities Officers of the Food Tech Club, and she loves to cook. Tina's hours in Fall 2006 are Mondays from 11a-noon and 1-2p, Tuesdays from 1-3p, Thursdays from 3-5p and Fridays from 10:30a-12:30p. Tina's office is located in 111 Cruess Hall.
