UCD Food Chain Races for the Cure
Strong showing at Race for the Cure
Led by Beth Mitcham and Diane Barrett, the UC Davis Food Chain made a fine showing at the Komen Sacramento Race for the Cure May 9. The 25 team members (faculty, staff and families from Plant Sciences and Food Science & Technology) raised nearly $2,000 for Susan G. Komen to support the fight against breast cancer. “And next year we hope for even more team members raising even more money,” Mitcham says.
