IFT Honors for UC Davis

The UC Davis Food Science team wins the 2006 College Bowl!! Jerome Diaz's poster wins the Food Chemistry Division!! Laura Pallas won first place in the Food Packaging Division Poster Competition!! Jaime Rudolf earns top fundraiser for the IFTSA Fun Run!!!

Amidst the ROARS of an adoring crowd in Orlando, Florida, the UC Davis Food Science team won the 2006 College Bowl competition!!!  The team members include Captain Michelle Danyluk, Kit Meyers, Jon Hutchinson, Ferlinda Kowara, and Pat Noonan.  The team went against many other teams in the nationwide contest and was undefeated against the other five teams in the finals.  WAY TO GO!!! Woo Hoo!!!!!!

As if that weren't enough, our very own Jerome Diaz, previously reported for being a finalist in the Food Chemistry Division Poster Competition, placed first in the finals!  Truly wonderful, Jerome!!

In the Food Packaging Division Poster Competition, Laura Pallas rocked the house and won first place!! Excellent, Laura!!

And last, but certainly not least, Jaime Rudolf earns top honors for her fundraising in the IFT Student Association Fun Run!! Superb, Jaime!
